Towson's Jerrelle Benimon has been chosen as the StatSheet CAA Player of the Week for the week ending December 17th. StatSheet's CAA Freshman of the Week goes to Ron Curry. And last but not least, Towson's Kris Walden has taken StatSheet's CAA 6th Man of the Week.

Benimon was tops in the CAA in rebounding (11.5 per game). He also put up respectable numbers with 60% shooting and 18 points per game. The Towson senior played well for the Tigers in losses to Temple and North Dakota State.

Benimon led scoring and rebounding for the Tigers with 30 points and 18 rebounds in a 72-61 loss to Temple. He followed that up with 5 rebounds and 2 blocked shots in a 65-48 loss to North Dakota State.

This is the second time this season that Jerrelle Benimon has been named StatSheet CAA Player of the Week. The runner-up this week is our own Devon Moore. Honorable mention goes to senior Keith Rendleman from North Carolina-Wilmington.
